【摘要】

In this talk, I will present our recent works on the collective multi-photon blockade in coherently driven atoms in a single mode cavity. The system consists of two atoms strongly coupled to an optical cavity, we show that the two-photon blockade with two-photon anti-bunching, and the three-photon blockade with three-photon anti-bunching can be observed simultaneously. We show that the two photon and three photon blockades strongly depend on the location of two atoms in the strong coupling regime. We find that the asymmetry in the atom-cavity coupling constants opens new pathways for multiphoton blockade which is also shown to be sensitive to the atomic decay and pumping strengths. Our works reveal many new quantum statistical features due to the collective behavior of atoms and can be useful to generate non-classical photon pairs.

【个人简介】

朱成杰,理学博士,特聘研究员,博士生导师。2014年在华东师范大学精密光谱科学与技术国家重点实验室获博士学位,师从黄国翔教授。2013年在美国国家标准与技术研究院Lu Deng小组从事研究工作,担任客座研究员。2014年在同济大学物理科学与工程学院从事研究工作,担任助理教授。2015年入选同济大学首批领航人才计划,晋升为特聘研究员。同年获得上海市青年科技英才扬帆计划。2016年在德克萨斯州A&M大学M. O. Scully小组从事量子光学方面的研究。 迄今已在国内外主要学术刊物上发表论文30余篇,其中Physical Review Letters三篇。
