Abstract:Quantum‐state‐diffusion (QSD) equation provides a generic stochastic approach to the free and control dynamics of open quantum systems that have been widely discussed in research fields ranging from AMO physics to condensed matter physics. It becomes clear that a deep understanding of the effects of environments on a quantum system such as the mechanisms of decoherence and the dynamics of entanglement is both of fundamental interest in quantum foundation issues and of practical importance in quantum information sciences. The mastery of quantum coherence and entanglement control is the key to the success of quantum design and engineering.In this talk we will present highlights of our recent works on stochastic dynamics of non‐Markovian quantum systems covering atom-photon interaction and nonperturbative dynamical decoupling. Moreover we predict an anomalous phenomenon in open quantum systems‐control of disorder by (even more) disorder. It is contrary to the common philosophy in control theory, that the disorder is always controlled by order. In fact, almost all of the strategies aimed at suppressing quantum decoherence adopt this point of view. However, we will show that the random pulse sequence and even the most disordered white noise field, might be used to suppress the system decoherence. This phenomenon seems to be another anomaly in quantum mechanics and may offer a new strategy in quantum control practices.

上海交通大学物理系本科(1998~2002)、硕博连读(2002~2007),2007年获理论物理博士学位。上海大学物理系讲师、副教授(2007~2014)。吉林大学原子与分子物理研究所教授、博士生导师(2014~2017)。美国史蒂文斯理工学院博士后(2010~2012)。西班牙巴斯克大学理论物理系(2013、2015)、美国纽约大学水牛城分校物理系(2013~2014)、北京计算科学中心(2014、2015、2016)访问学者,香港理工大学(2016)访问教员。2009年度上海市教育委员会&上海市教育发展基金会“晨光”计划学者。PRL及PR系列、SR、JP系列、CPB审稿人,担任Scientific Reports的Editorial Board member。主要致力于开放量子系统动力学、非微扰量子调控、几何量子计算、量子退相干、量子光学系统以及量子力学基本理论方面的研究。目前发表论文50多篇(其中70%为第一作者,包括两篇PRL,20多篇PR系列),引用400多次,H指数15,主持国家自然科学面上基金两项、青年基金一项。。
