Title: Hybrid Cavity-Optomechanics with Dressed Bose-Einstein Condensate.

Description: We show that the inclusion of transversely dressed BEC not only controls the bistable dynamics of the system but also suppress the optical bistability inside cavity. This method also allows to alter the EIT spectrum in the cavity transmission. Further, we show that the spin-orbit coupled BEC provides opportunity to cool the movable mirror of cavity to its quantum mechanical ground state. Furthermore, the interaction of synthetic spin states with probe field gives birth to a new type of optical transparencies which possess topological like characteristics.

Title: Dynamical Localization of BEC in Hybrid Nano Opto-Mechanical System
Supervisors: Prof. Farhan Saif
Description: In this dissertation, we discussed the quantum mechanical phenomenon of Dynamical Localization in BEC trapped inside a hybrid optomechanical cavity with one movable mirror. The movable mirror of the cavity perturbs the motion of BEC yielding in chaotic phase space. The quantum wave function of atoms, with chaotic initial condition from phase space, shows less and saturated dispersion with time than classical description, and takes exponential form after particular time (quantum beak time).
